Regional Director – Carrie Leavitt
Carrie came to this work through her journey of raising a child with developmental and mental health needs. She began her work with OFSN in 2008. In her early years of navigating and advocating for her child, she thought she was alone out there and then discovered the community of OFSN. Carrie’s background is in psychology and professional program management.
Megan Fernandez – Family Partner
Megan has been working with OFSN as a Family Partner for Multnomah County since October 2015. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor’s in Social Work June 2015. Megan has three amazing children, one which has mental health and behavior challenges. She learned to navigate many of the systems including mental health, addictions, child welfare and corrections, and can relate to many of the families that OFSN serves. She is compassionate and has a lot of empathy for families and enjoys watching them gain their voice for themselves and for their families.
